Learned Something New

In my research today I learned something new. That there is a differnce between "upload" and "download". I always used the words interchangeably but today I learned that there is a difference.

Download: The process where you receive information onto your computer (i.e. view a web page online).

Upload: The process where you send information from your computer (i.e. your credit card and address information you input when you purchase online).

Maybe this was commom knowledge....I don't know......even still I am strengthening my knowledge about the IT world.
